Wallet

So my wallet needed to be retired.  Besides the 10-year-old dirt, the coin compartment clasp would no longer close.  After spilling change into my purse for the umpteenth time, I finally went shopping for a new wallet.  I found one on sale.  Red.  Leather.  After 20 minutes of indecision, I presented it to the cashier and begrudgingly forked over the cash from my old wallet.  I brought it home and Edie helped me transfer everything over.  (She happily adopted the old wallet and immediately took it "shopping.")  Well, that was one week ago.  Yesterday I grabbed my clean, new, red leather wallet from my purse, and the coins spilled everywhere.  The coin compartment seam has ripped out.  I guess the moral of the story is, put your coins in your piggy bank.

Aunt Sarah says she's telling a secret!

Kids Say the Darnedest Things!

While sitting in the automatic car wash last month, Easton and I had the following conversation:
Easton:  Good thing we're not on a motorcycle.
Mom:  You wouldn't do this if you were on a motorcycle.
Easton:  Unless you were an idiot.

When Edie woke up yesterday morning, she sat up and exclaimed, "When I get big I'm gonna have big boo-boos like Mommy's!"
