Off to kindergarten!

We have entered a new phase of our lives...The School Years. Our schedules will now be dictated by the school calendar and our pocketbooks emptied by school fundraisers.

Easton was all smiles as he headed off to his first day of kindergarten. We carpool with the neighbor kids, three of them, and E is so excited to be at school with them this year. As we left his classroom, Larry and I wondered if we should feel more nostalgic. I asked Larry, "Was that hard?" He responded, "Dropping him off at daycare while he clung to my legs and screamed was hard. This was not hard."

Easton has set out to become the "smartest person in the world!" Good luck.

Edie's first day of "pre-school." She marched right in, dragging that wheelie backpack, and never looked back. When she realized that Mommy and Daddy did not stay, she was not quite so excited. She wants to be a "big girl" so badly!
